The Iris Art Realm museum is a good place for families with little children.
According to Zhang Yunjia, executive curator of the museum and CEO of Suzhou Skyroad Education Group, the museum is designed to be child-friendly and it often shows works by young contemporary artists.
The spatial design is eye-catching. It features changes created by light and shadow designs based on natural lighting through the skylight and windows of different sizes.
On sunny days, the sunlight shines down on the wooden spiral staircase through the skylight, creating beautiful pictures.
The changes of light and shadow put on a magic show, and even the visitors can be part of it.
The museum has an interaction space where children and their parents can write down their wishes on the Wishing Wall and try to create some art works such as a painting on a paper cup.
