The Mid-Autumn Lantern Fair is a typical cultural plus commercial event at the old Xietang Street which, located on the bank of the East Xietang River, is a popular cultural tourism destination in SIP.

The old Xietang Street is a restoration of an ancient street in the over-760-year-old Xietang town, featuring pseudo-classic architecture and diverse businesses for cultural experience and recreation. The well-integrated traditional and modern elements enable it to be unique among SIP’s tourist attractions.

The Mid-Autumn Lantern Fair will be upgraded in the future so that it will play a bigger role in promoting cultural inheritance and economic growth, said Harmony Development, a member within SIP-based multi-business conglomerate Sungent Group and developer of the old Xietang Street.
