Zhang Shenan, a teacher at SIP Institute of Services Outsourcing, served as the leader of the school’s volunteer service team and also a volunteer of SIP Volunteers Association during the event. He was in charge of maintaining the order on the main stage and at several other spots.

“I used to participate inZhang Shenan: I hope to pass the volunteer spirit to more people the dragon boat race as a student volunteer and a member of the emergency rescue team. Now my students and I serve as volunteers for the event together. A number of teachers and students from our school will compete in the races. I think I have a special attachment to the Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race,” Zhang said.

According to Zhang, 262 volunteers from SIP Volunteers Association participated in the event.

“We arrived here at 5:30am. The wind is relatively strong today, but I believe that we will manage to ensure the success of the event. The Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race is a large event in SIP, I’m very proud that I can make some contributions to it,” said Zhang.
