A variety of events were held across SIP and others planned to usher in the New Year.

The Renmin University of China Suzhou Campus held an event where foreign students and teachers from the Silk Road School and Suzhou Campus faculty members wrote Chinese character “Fu” (meaning happiness and luck) on square pieces of red paper with traditional Chinese writing brushes as a token of good wishes for the coming year.

SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone organized an event to enhance interactions between Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs.

Running events are scheduled in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort and BioBAY to celebrate the beginning of 2025.

Moreover, diverse events were held in different communities to encourage residents to make various decorations for New Year celebrations, such as dried flowers, wind chimes, woodcut prints and so on. In the process, the participants gained knowledge of traditional culture and techniques, and enhanced interactions with each other.
