Shen Mi, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, and his contingent visited several enterprises in SIP on Aug 15 for a survey on the development of new quality productive forces in the area.

The survey team first visited RoboTechnik Intelligent Technology Co Ltd, a company which develops high-end automation equipment and intelligent manufacturing execution system software, learning details about its R&D activities and the help it expected to get from local authorities. Shen encouraged the company to enhance strategic deployment and innovation to make more achievements in AI technology.

The survey team then visited BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems (Suzhou) Co Ltd, a branch of American multinational automotive supplier BorgWarner, learning about its main business and products as well as future development plans. Shen encouraged the company to enhance technology innovation and upgrading to strengthen its competitiveness and make more contributions to the green industrial development in SIP.

In the last leg of the survey tour, the survey team visited Jiangsu RCT Power Energy Technology Co Ltd, which aims to provide its clients with the best energy storage solutions. In the meeting with the company’s executives, Shen hoped that the company would expand investment in SIP and help SIP promote development of new energy and green industries.
