From September 11 to 14, a delegation led by SIP Administrative Committee Deputy Director Yao Wenlei made a tour in Singapore with the hope of promoting exchanges and cooperation in legal services.
The delegation first visited Suzhou Industrial Park International Business Cooperation Centre (Singapore) where four law firms in SIP signed agreements with the centre to launch cooperation in providing legal services and organizing related events at the China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area Legal Service Center’s service outlet in Singapore.
The delegation then visited the Ministry of Law Singapore and the Law Society of Singapore, and met with the leaders of these organizations.
Later, the delegation went to Singapore International Arbitration Centre and International Mediation Centre and Maxwell Chambers’ International Centre for Dispute Resolution Singapore, learning about their operation concepts and work modes.
The delegation also visited Rajah & Tann Singapore and Drew & Napier, two of Singapore’s leading law firms, where they met with three lawyers who came from SIP and were attending training there.
