Wu Hong, deputy secretary of the CPC SIP Working Committee and director of SIP Administrative Committee, met with Reggie Lai, vice president of Global Government Affairs & Corporate Responsibility at TE Connectivity, and his contingent on Oct 14.
TE Connectivity, a world leader in connectors and sensors, set up a branch in SIP in 2006, and since then has expanded investments in the industrial park several times. It now runs in SIP four manufacturing bases under its automotive solutions arm, one engineering technology center for operations in China, one shared financial service center for operations in the Asia-Pacific region, and one manufacturing base under its medical solutions arm.
At the meeting, Wu welcomed the guests and thanked TE Connectivity for its contributions to local economic growth. He gave the guests a specific introduction to SIP’s development and business environment for investors, and encouraged TE Connectivity to expand cooperation with SIP.
Reggie Lai expressed thanks to SIP authorities for their consistent support for TE Connectivity’s projects, saying that the company also hoped to reinforce the partnership with SIP.
