From Sept 23 to 28, a delegation of SIP, led by Wu Hong, deputy secretary of the CPC SIP Working Committee and director of SIP Administrative Committee, visited Hungary and Austria in order to deepen SIP’s cooperation with advanced industrial clusters in Europe and explore new opportunities for open and innovative development of SIP.
The tour promoted the progress of the project of 77 Elektronika Kft. The Hungary-based developer, manufacturer and supplier of in vitro diagnostic medical devices has decided to set up its China headquarters and an IVD devices manufacturing base in SIP.
On Sept 24, the delegation met with the executives of about 20 industry-leading companies in Budapest, introducing SIP’s conditions and discussing cooperation potentials with them. Many of the local entrepreneurs showed interest in SIP and hoped to visit the industrial park in person.
The delegation also visited other companies, learning about their development plans and discussing with them potentials of teaming up in digitalization of manufacturing, low-carbon development, talent training and other aspects.
At the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, China Cultural Center in Budapest and China’s embassies and consulates in Hungary and Austria, the delegation gave introductions to SIP’s latest development and investment promotion policies and services, hoping to establish long-term, win-win communication and cooperation mechanisms with outstanding companies in these countries.
