Shen Mi, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, and Jane Lim, deputy secretary (trade) and director of the Software Project Office at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) of Singapore, jointly presided over the 2/2024 Software Project Office Meeting on Oct 29 via a video link.
At the event, the two parties reviewed the report about SIP to be submitted to the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council and the preparations for celebrating the 30th anniversary of SIP’s inception, and exchanged opinions on cooperation in talent training, software projects and other aspects.
Wu Hong, director of SIP Administrative Committee, made a report on SIP’s development.
Mr. Shen emphasized again the significance of the cooperation between the two parties, expecting the tie-up in sustainable development, digital economy, biomedicine, services and other areas could be deepened.
Ms. Lim hoped the two parties would enhance collaboration in such fields as exchange of good practices, talent training and internship programs for youths to jointly build SIP into an open and innovative world-class high-tech park.
