The Department of Natural Resources of East China’s Jiangsu province and SIP Administrative Committee signed an agreement on Dec 3 to carry out strategic cooperation in exploring innovative practices of territorial space planning and management.

Under the agreement, the two parties will join hands to set up a space planning and management training base, explore ways of intensively and economically using land in SIP, deepen innovation in coordinated space planning between partner industrial parks, and carry out Party building activities.

Moreover, tailored consultation, pairing guidance and demonstration mechanisms will be established to ensure the agreement can be fully implemented.

The SIP Territorial Space Planning and Management Training Base was inaugurated concurrently to facilitate collaboration in space planning and management and cultivation of related professionals.
