Shen Mi, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, met with Hans Dekkers, General Manager of IBM Asia Pacific, and his contingent on Dec 11.

Shen extended welcome to the guests, and gave them an introduction to SIP’s economic and social development. He hoped IBM could help accelerate digital transformation of manufacturers in SIP and also the development of the local sci-tech ecosystem. He said SIP would provide all-around multi-level services and support for IBM’s projects in SIP to ensure mutual benefits.

Hans Dekkers expressed thanks for SIP’s attention to and help for IBM. He said IBM was confident in the operation in SIP and hoped that its rich experience in digitalization would help local manufacturers upgrade their operations.
