The SIP “4·15” National Security Education Series was launched at Renmin University of China (RUC) Suzhou Campus in SIP on Apr 8 to usher in the Chinese National Security Education Day that is observed annually on Apr 15 to raise people’s awareness of national security. At the launch ceremony, SIP and RUC signed an agreement to deepen cooperation in national security education.

The RUC (Suzhou) Practice Base for National Security Education was inaugurated to provide training on national security. RUC teachers will visit enterprises, sub-districts and primary and middle schools in SIP to provide directions for national security education.

The RUC Suzhou Campus and Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District were declared “Practice Bases for Education on Overall National Security Outlook” by the government of Suzhou.

Eight organizations in SIP were declared pilot sites for national security education.

In addition, SIP unveiled the “1+N” network to enhance national security education through SIP National Security Museum and a number of other facilities for publicity and education purposes.
