The new campus of Suzhou Junior High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, which is located at No. 17 Donghong Road, SIP, is ready to welcome the first group of students.

The new school, with a total floor area of about 101,000 square meters, has 120 general classrooms, 90-plus activity rooms and functional classrooms that can accommodate more than 5,000 students.

“There will be four classes in Grade 1 and four in Grade 7 first, and each class is of a small size to ensure the best teaching quality. Every student will receive full attention and personalized education,” said Ding Guoyuan, secretary of the CPC branch of the junior section of Suzhou Junior High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University.

The teachers have rich experience in teaching. They are now making preparations for the new semester that will begin early September.

Both the school’s buildings and outdoor spaces have been elaborately designed to create an atmosphere that can boost students’ motivation toward learning.

“There will be special bus lines for the students, and an underground drop-off and pick-up zone designed to avoid traffic jams around the school,” Ding said.
