Based on a three-year action plan aimed at promoting high-end development of preschool education, SIP’s Loufeng Sub-district has carried out a series of projects this year with the aim of making 11 kindergartens better-equipped, more beautiful and safer.
The renovation projects covered everything from the infrastructure like the classrooms, playgrounds, toilets and lighting systems to desks, nap cots and toys. Special attention was paid to sanitation and safety management.
Typically, the upgraded kindergartens boast an environment with more natural elements that are expected to boost children’s curiosity for explorations and interest in learning. The suggestions of the kindergartens’ children and their parents were taken into consideration when plans for the renovation projects were made.
Roofs, eaves and walls have been reinforced, and intelligent smoke detection systems have been installed in the vehicle sheds. Besides, several kindergartens rebuilt their water and power supply systems in order to eliminate safety pitfalls.
