SIP held a work conference in Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District on Sept 26 in the aim of promoting the development of over 30 higher education institutions in the district over the second half of the year.
At the event, the Higher Education Institutions Cooperation and Development Bureau of Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District made the report on the development of the higher education institutions in the district since the beginning of this year, and released the detailed rules for the implementation of the latest policies for the development of higher education institutions.
The Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research of the University of Science and Technology of China and the Southeast University Suzhou Campus shared experience in safety guarantee and school development.
The conference also included a roundup of the achievements that higher education institutions have made in implementing major projects, talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation and other aspects so far this year.
The universities and colleges were required to enhance efforts in ensuring workplace and food safety, paying attention to students’ mental health, introducing and cultivating talents, scientific researches and other areas.
Ni Qian, deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee, said SIP authorities would continuously improve administrative services and offer preferential policies to support higher education institutions to strive for innovative development.
