The Weiting Experimental Primary School is a composite of the style of Suzhou’s classical gardens and modern art and culture. A quick snap is beautiful.

Located at No. 219 Yiting Road, SIP, the school was first built in 1906, and a project was launched in 2020 to expand the school by about 36,000 square meters and renovate the facilities. The first phase of the project, including the classroom buildings, canteen, gymnasium and underground parking lot, was put into service last year, while the second phase of the project was completed in August.

Thanks to the project, new classrooms have been added, and the over 4,000-square-meter canteen can serve 1,800 people at the same time. Besides, the classrooms for computer operation, science, fine arts, music and dancing have been upgraded, and the psychological service center and gym expanded.

In addition to upgraded functions, the school’s environment has been improved through ingenious landscape and space designs, such as the courtyard of different sizes, the stilt spaces and the roof garden.

The school has made sufficient preparations since the completion of the second-phase renovation to give its students a new experience in the new semester.
