The 2024 Jinji Lake Human Resource Development Forum took place at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Convention Centre, SIP on Dec 20, bringing together about 1,000 people including officials from local authorities, representatives from the HR industry and a number of experts and scholars.
The event was sponsored by SIP Human Resources Development Co Ltd (also known as O-HR), an HR service arm of SIP-based multi-business conglomerate Sungent Group. It was designed to offer professionals engaged in HR service and related sectors an opportunity to exchange opinions and jointly explore new paths for upgrading and transformation of the HR industry.
At the event, the 2024 Report on Staff Salaries and Welfare in Key Industries in Suzhou was released. According to the report, the 50th percentile (median) annual salary for employees in enterprises in Suzhou was RMB114,000, with a steady increase, and the figure in SIP was RMB124,000.
Shen Yingyan, general manager of O-HR, gave the participants an analysis of talent demand in Suzhou based on the report.
The experts and scholars shared their views and expertise revolving around four themes, namely “New Understanding of Trends”, “New Potentials for Overseas Development”, “New Driving Force of AI”, and “New Development of Talent”. In the process, they offered ideas for digitalization, internationalization and high-quality development of HR industry.
