The event held at the Intellectual Property Museum of CADPA in SIP on Dec 14 was a feast of game culture, technology and entertainment.
The Intellectual Property Museum of CADPA, the first museum focused on game-related IP in the country, was opened in NānNān PARK, SIP in November. Created by the Working Committee for Games at China Audio-video and Digital Publishing Association, it is designed to showcase outcomes of China’s games industry and build up the impetus for games-related business.
During the event, models, music and other elements of 12 popular Chinese games were shown, making the visitors feel like they were in the games.
In the exhibition zone featuring “Twist of the Fate”, a mobile game created by SIP-based online games company FriendTimes, the fans could play the game, take photos with the cardboard cutouts of game characters, try to wear traditional Han Chinese clothing, etc.
The event received high praise from the participants. The museum planned to host more events in the future to explore new ways of spreading culture through games.
