The Masterpieces of Modern Photography, an exhibition themed “One of A Kind”, opened at Ui ART Center, SIP on Sept 14, and will last till Mar 30, 2025. On display are 100 unique works by 39 Western photographers.

The exhibition consists of four parts which, from different perspectives, manifest the relations between photography and uniqueness and duplication.

At the opening ceremony, Dr. Sarah Kennel, the curator, shared with the participants her ideas of planning the exhibition, and gave a talk on the 100-year history of photography development in the southern part of the United States.

Jin Hongwei, a photo collector and chairman of the board of directors at Sipa Press, guided the visitors to enjoy the photos.

It is worth mentioning that there is a reading zone with albums and books by the photographers, and the Ui Parlor where a number of experts and scholars will share their insights on the art of photography during the exhibition.
