The “Natura Naturans” exhibition, part of the 2024 (3rd) Suzhou Jinji Lake China-France Culture and Art Week, opened at Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum, SIP on Oct 20, and will last till Dec 1.

On display are over 40 works by Jiang Dandan, a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University who once studied and lived in France, and Beno?t Vermander, a French artist who works at Fudan University as a professor. Both of the artists instilled their philosophical insights on Chinese and French cultures into the works.

As the exhibition opened, a forum themed “Life, Nature and Art: A Dialogue between Chinese and French Cultures” was held, attended by not only Jiang and Beno?t but also a host of curators of art galleries in different cities, exhibition designers and art educators.
