The exhibition themed “History Meets Future: 30 Years of SIP” opened at Dushu Lake Urban Art Space, SIP on Nov 13, and will last till Dec 31.
The exhibits in four parts, including photos, fine art works and AI photography works, chronicle SIP’s achievements over the past three decades, and portray a new vision of its future.
A lecture was given after the opening ceremony. Prof. Hu Qian, who founded a studio in collaboration with Japanese architect and Pritzker Prize winner Arata Isozaki in China, shared with the participants the concept and process of designing one of the tourist service stations along Jinji Lake in SIP and also cases of urban renewal, guiding the audiences to think about new paths of urban development.
