The Star Mall in SIP’s Jinji Lake CBD has become more popular with young people after its upgrading. It is particularly attractive to ACGN (animation, comic, game and novel) lovers, who can buy the most popular ACGN peripheral products.

The mall has achieved the goal of turning itself into the first “art toy and cartoon culture center” in Suzhou through the upgrading. Over 40 ACGN brands have confirmed to set up stores in it, and 15 of them have started operations in it.

Even the toilets in the mall have been specially decorated, and specialized photography and makeup areas have been designated for ACGN lovers.

A bazaar was held on the first floor of the mall during the summer vacation, providing hundreds of new products from the ACGN brands.

There is a stage on the third floor for animation fans to perform, and events will be held there for them to exchange their collections and share their experiences.

Additionally, a number of food and beverage brands including Modern China Tea Shop, a Changsha-based startup that offers healthy tea beverages and cultural experiences, will join the mall soon.
