SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort saw a grand ceremony on Sept 7 when the Peninsula Autumn Life Season kicked off and the Shuize Service Station opened.
The service station, designed by Shuhei Aoyama, a Japanese architect, provides a wide range of services to tourists, including bicycle rentals, consultancy and emergency help. It has well-designed spaces for reading books, watching films and camping, and offers coffee and meals.
The Peninsula Autumn Life Season will last till late November. A variety of cultural, art and sports events will be held, including the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) China, the Peninsula Art Fair, the first hairy crab festival at Bicester Village Suzhou and the Yangcheng Peninsula Females’ Half Marathon.
The first event, incorporating a lawn concert, a trendy fair and fireworks shows, attracted lots of people.
